Serve on the web development team Provide ongoing maintenance and enhancement of Miller Center website Develop recommendations on moderately complex problems Collaborate in establishing and meeting technical specifications Identify and solve problems, test and implement applications, and provide ongoing technical evaluations Assist in integration of additional technologies to enhance sites and focus sites toward intended audiences Assist with maintenance/support of technology infrastructure Process multimedia for web publication Interact with public and stakeholders, including training of other users Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and best practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, computer engineering or related discipline is required. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. One or more years of experience in web development, preferred Ability to design effective web content delivery, required Ability to create, test and deploy improvements to a complex web application based on stakeholder specifications, required Fluency in HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL and Javascript, required Experience with Drupal development, or ability to learn it quickly, required Experience with modern Javascript frameworks (React, Node), preferred Experience working with Git-based, collaborative code management, preferred Experience developing, theming, and maintaining Drupal site, preferred Experience working with faculty in a higher education setting, preferred Knowledge of Photoshop and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications, preferred Ability to communicate effectively, especially regarding technical information, required Ability to meet , required Ability to work well independently and in a team-oriented environment, required Ability to maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and best practices, required Ability to uphold the values of the Miller Center's faculty and staff, required
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
