Join the Emerson Intelligent Platforms Technology team and use your program management skills to lead the development of our next generation Automation platforms Collaborate in self-motivated and cross-functional teams to translate customer needs into our products, platforms, and solutions Be involved in all phases of embedded product development (hardware and software) from product definition, prototyping, and production release Use Agile software development practices to manage the design & test of our products using Continuous Integration Foster an environment of continuous learning and improving Make technical presentations to peers and managers on the details of your project WHO YOU ARE:
You readily distinguish between what's relevant and what's unimportant to make sense of complex situations. You look beyond the obvious and don't stop at the first answers. You analyze multiple and diverse sources of information to design problems accurately before moving to solutions. You evaluate pros and cons, risks and benefits of different solution options. You formulate a clear strategy and map aggressive steps that will accelerate the organization toward its goals. You adapt quickly to changing resource requirements. You display a can-do attitude in good and bad times REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity Demonstrated ability to succeed in a cross-functional environment Demonstrated time management and multi-tasking abilities Demonstrated organizational skills PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
MS Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Engineering field PMP/ PMP-ACP certification Demonstrated ability to plan/manage budget, schedule, resources, work activities, and risks/mitigations. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis Demonstrated project management experience developing electronic products with embedded software. Demonstrated experience working on teams that use the Agile Scrum development methods Understanding of SAFe methodology Knowledge of Industrial Controls, particularly PLCs/PACs or with Emerson Intelligent Platforms PACSystems Controllers
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Business Project ManagementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
