Experience:
At least 2 years of Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) Surgical Services experience We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Tech (SPT) to join our team in Charlottesville, VA.
As an SPT, you will be responsible for preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment for use in surgical procedures.
This is a contract position that offers a great opportunity for SPTs looking to expand their skillset in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job Duties:
Sterilizing surgical instruments and equipment Cleaning and maintaining surgical instruments and equipment Assembling and disassembling surgical instrument sets Ensuring that all equipment and instruments are functioning properly Monitoring and documenting sterilization cycles
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a Sterile Processing Tech program At least 2 years of Sterile Processing Tech Surgical Services experience Knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Excellent organizational and time management skills We offer competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive work environment.
