6 Full-time 1 hour ago Full Job Description The Specialty Pharmacy Technician will ensure accurate and timely data entry, product dispensing, and packing of prescription orders and will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care.
The technician will work in a high-volume fulfillment and/or call center environment on a multidisciplinary team.
Routine interaction with specialty pharmacy patients with complex medication needs requiring high-touch care and follow-up.
Demonstrates the ability to competently work in general and specialized areas of pharmacy practice.
Participates in the training of new employees.
Fills and delivers medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist/licensed independent practitioner.
Policies and procedures are followed consistently.
Ensures adequate supplies are available for continuous patient care.
Triages and escalates any questions or issues outside the pharmacy technician scope of practice to the staff pharmacist or supervisor as needed.
Uses appropriate systems for processing of patient information.
Ensures quality assurance is maintained according to departmental and legal requirements.
Operates pharmacy equipment appropriately.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
Position Compensation Range:
$20.
68 - $32.
05 Hourly MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Experience:
6 months minimum of relevant experience required.
License/Certification:
Commonwealth of Virginia Pharmacy Technician registration required.
CPhT credential through National Healthcareer Association (NHA) or Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required.
For team members hired prior to February 1, 2020, certification as CPhT through NHA or PTCB is required by January 31, 2022.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods.
Proficient communicative, auditory, and visual skills.
Attention to detail and ability to write legibly.
Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20 lbs.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
