0 Full-time 10 hours ago Full Job Description The University of Virginia Human Resources is seeking candidates for HR Associate, Talent Support positions.
The Talent Support team directly supports customers in a variety of ways.
As a key component of the HR Solution Center, Talent Support team members must have exceptional customer service skills and the ability to operate in a fast-paced and complex environment.
HR Associates support the pre-boarding process, completing a variety of student, faculty, staff and team member-related operations from pre-employment to termination, including ensuring compliance (licenses, background checks).
HR Associates must have exceptional written, verbal and organizational skills.
The incumbent works efficiently as part of a team as well as independently.
Also necessary is the ability to proactively communicate with hiring managers and candidates.
Excellent organizational and time management skills are a must.
The Associate is also able to adapt to changing priorities, handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality, and follow set policies and procedures.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel, and HR Systems is required.
In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.
The salary range for this position is $18.
00-$20.
00/hour depending on qualifications and experience.
This is a full-time, overtime eligible position with UVa benefits.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education:
High School Diploma.
An Associates' Degree and/or 1-2 years HR experience is preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers.
The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
