Quick Apply Full-time 1 hour ago Full Job Description The Hospitality, Food & Beverage Operations Manager (Operations Manager) will provide leadership, management, and oversight of a growing portfolio of hospitality, food and beverage outlets in Charlottesville, VA and Cape Cod, MA.
While ensuring the operational success of the portfolio, this leader will maintain the highest of standards, particularly focusing on overall guest and employee satisfaction.
The Operations Manager will be responsible for the financial success of the portfolio and will develop and implement business plans and execute on portfolio strategy.

Tiger Lily Capital manages a direct and indirect portfolio of investments in life science, private equity, real estate, and public securities.
In addition, TLC manages a philanthropic foundation supporting health research and innovation that leads to the development of more effective treatments, and ultimately cures, for the world's most disruptive diseases.
Responsibilities:
The Operations Manager will work to ensure the following requirements are met:
Act as internal lead on a portfolio of operating business with $10M-12M in annual revenue from F&B and hospitality outlets - supervising and managing day-to-day operations.
Drive owner initiatives related to budgeting, staffing and investment decision making with the goal of maximizing return on investment.
Assist in preparing monthly company-level financial results to ensure performance matches investment/annual budget expectations; identify and resolve related discrepancies.
Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others; advocate sound financial/business decision making; demonstrate honesty/integrity and lead by example.
Create and nurture a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing service.
Provide a learning atmosphere with a focus on continuous improvement.
Provide proactive coaching and mentorship to team members.
Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.
Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish the assigned work.
Provide the leadership, vision and direction to bring together and prioritize the portfolio goals in a way that will be efficient and effective.
Set clear expectations with the employees and team leaders and ensures that appropriate rewards are given if expectations are exceeded.
Qualifications (Preferred) Bachelor's degree in business or hospitality management preferred.
2-5 years of work experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or a related field (preferably in a leadership role).
Must have excellent leadership skills.
Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency of all applicable food and beverage laws and regulations.
Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, planning, written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel and MS Teams; ability to generate, manipulate, and summarize data in a clear, concise, and accurate manner.
Ability to coordinate & communicate cross-functionally within a broader family office setting including accounting, finance, and investor relations teams.
Self-motivated individual looking to drive business processes improvements across operations.
Detail oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
