2K a year 14 hours ago 14 hours ago 14 hours ago The Better Living Components General Manager is responsible for the vision, strategy and leadership which drives the component plant to achieve and maintain high standards of quality, customer satisfaction, delivery and manufacturing capabilities.
Ensures performance and quality objectives are met while controlling expenses.
Responsibilities of the Position:
Management Oversee all areas of the plant, ensuring and maintaining high standards of quality, safety and service.
Sets the overall direction for the plant through long and short-term goal planning, sales and expense budgeting and carrying out plans to meet goals Manage Plant Supervisors, Office, Sales, Design and Dispatch through partnering to achieve common goals o Includes training and development for Supervisors and Employees o Evaluation, review and council for Supervisors and Employees Going to Business Maintain customer relationships; oversees the customer experience from sales to delivery Ensures a quality designed and manufactured product, delivered on schedule Monitors inventory costs through purchasing and outside materials such as Random Lengths Delegating and overseeing all aspects of inventory including physical counts Facilitates best practices to ensure State and Federal safety standards Ensures that all machines and equipment are being properly used and maintained.
Qualifications to be considered for this position:
Previous management experience in a truss manufacturing/construction environment Strong understanding of the production of trusses and wall panels, manufacturing methods and processes Possess knowledge in scheduling and shipping Strong judgment in analyzing, troubleshooting, and evaluating problems Exceptional written and oral communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook PI219312180.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
