TS/SCI Systems Administrator
A client of Insight Global is looking for a TS/SCI Cleared Systems Administrator to sit on-site in Charlottesville, VA.
This person will be responsible for legacy systems administration, mostly assisting in the maintenance and troubleshooting of any potential systems issues that may arise from platform patches or changes with connected systems (AKG, ECMS, etc.
).
Other responsibilities are as follows:
Monitoring the production system servers and applications to identify and correct anomalies.
Providing Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to end users and other program stakeholders.
Participating in requirements gathering, technical design, and implementation activities.
Interfacing with program stakeholders and external support teams.
Resolving technical issues.
Providing written and verbal reports.
Program:
The IDEA (Intelligence Development Enabled Awareness) was just award in 2022 and has 3 years remaining.
The mission is to provide research, development, integration, enhancement, transition, deployment, and sustainment of designated intelligence software systems.
The task number hiring is focusing on finding and creating ways to modernize those capabilities and move them to the cloud.
Minimum Requirements Verified TS/SCI Clearance 3
years' experience as a Systems Administrator (Windows or Linux environment) Background/Familiarity with SQL and/or Oracle/APEX database administration (ideally Oracle 12c/19c) Experience administering server-side technology and networked computing systems.
Experience and understanding of front end and back-end services to provide troubleshooting options to IT IT support for running scans, cyber requirements, ATO documentation, etc.
Desired Skills Previous experience performing Oracle database administration such as troubleshooting platform patches, or changes with connected systems (AKG ECMS, etc.
) Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer and Information Technology Certifications Preferred:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Server+, etc.
