Summary:
Our company is seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team.

Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for assisting Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers with setting up the front end of projects.
Review project requirements and help coordinate changes in drawings and additions to create a clearly defined path of construction for the shop.
Shipping out samples to clients and job sites.
Help do material take-offs for projects.
Clean, neat, and professional appearance as a representative of Gaston & Wyatt.
(Especially when visiting job sites.
).
Travel will be needed periodically.
Write an email with clear, courteous, and well-thought-out information.
Perform special projects and complete all other duties as assigned or requested.
Support
Responsibilities:
Research and order unique materials for projects as needed.
Create a work order parts list & delivery ticket for job scopes as they are ready for the shop.
The Project Coordinator assists Project Managers with continuously flowing information from emails and meetings.
Coordinate and schedule project meetings.
Creating meeting agendas and sending them out to the stakeholders.
Recording notes during project meetings Serve as a liaison between the Project Manager and the internal and external stakeholders involved regarding project status and issues (i.
e.
, deliverable dates, discrepancies, delays, etc.
) Education & Experience Requirement:
College or technical school degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.
Detail-oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant information regarding plan layouts, project deliverables, and administrative work.
Ability to juggle and prioritize various daily tasks with attention to detail.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and complete comfort with technology Ability to read and understand architectural drawings.
Experience working in a similar setting, such as an architectural firm, wood products plant, or millwork shop, is preferred.
Focus on high-end, highly detailed work is highly preferred.
Certifications from PMI (PMP or CAPM).
Physical Requirements & Work Demands:
Project Coordinators must spend time in a climate-controlled office environment before a computer screen, keyboarding, and manipulating a mouse.
Will also be required to work in a non-climate-controlled shop environment.
You must bend, stretch, squat, and climb to access all machine parts.
Must lift 50 lbs.
