We welcome you to apply and join our family today as our Administrative Assistant / Scheduler! We Are All Family(TM) Responsibilities Schedule health & wellness department work hours, including vacation and holiday schedules, shift and work assignments.
Create and manage Templates in Onshift to match staffing requirements and budget.
Post the schedule in Onshift at least 2 weeks in advance.
Fill all open shifts for Nursing Assistants, Med Techs and Nurses by contacting back up associates according to established procedures using OnShift messaging.
Assist with managing health & wellness team member call outs.
Prepare, print and post daily assignment sheets for Resident Assistants, Med Techs and Nurses.
Communicate open shift hiring needs to the Director of Health and Wellness and Business Office Manager.
Train new employees on using the OnShift application to access their schedules, request shifts and respond to messages.
Notify Director of Health and Wellness of overtime to cover shifts.
Responsible for the tracking and ordering of health & wellness supplies.
Interviewing potential new employees and assist with the onboarding experience.
Qualifications High school diploma or GED required.
Current Registered Medical Aide (RMA) Certification through the Virginia Board of Health Professions preferred.
Ability to respond to texts & phone calls in a timely manner.
Must be able available to work different shifts including weekend.
Must read, write, speak and understand English.
Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude towards all team members and the elderly.
Previous experience in a healthcare-related community or equivalent, preferably assisted living.
Knowledge or willingness to learn computer programs used in the community.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
