Job DescriptionOur Client is seeking a highly qualified Senior Network Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to join our team at NGIC - Charlottesville, VARequired Qualificationso TS/SCI Security Clearanceo DOD8570 IAT/IAM Level II baseline certification required (Security
or equivalent)o At least eight years of experience working with enterprise-level Cisco hardware, operating systems, and technologies across enterprise information systems and networks.
o Experience with Cisco-based routing and switching technologies.
o Experience with Cisco-based Access Control Lists (ACLs) to secure network traffic.
o Experience configuring network authentication using the TACACS and RADIUS protocols.
o Experience configuring and managing in-line encryption devices.
o Experience with the implementation and use of network monitoring, fault management, and performance analysis tools.
o Experience with Cisco networking security solutions, technologies, and best practices to support the secure implementation and sustainment of enterprise network devices in line with IA and INFOSEC compliance and governance.
o Experience supporting technology delivery to commercial or government clients.
o Organized, self-starter, able to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced team.
o Strong written and verbal communication skillsDesired Qualificationso Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or Mathematicso Experience with AWS infrastructure and services.
o Experience with ServiceNow.
Key Responsibilitieso Provide network engineering, systems architecture, and security support to ensure the design, configuration, and administration of a Cisco Client platform is maintained and satisfies all cybersecurity requirements.
o Configure and manage network access controls in accordance with government account management policies.
o Support cybersecurity and information assurance services in compliance with DoD IA policies, processes, and procedures.
o Create, update, maintain, and submit network management and security diagrams to the government.
o Perform preventative maintenance on network components.
o Perform security patch management.
o Provide the initial level of support for service requests, incidents, and problems.
