Our client, in Charlottesville, VA, is search of a User Experience Designer who excels in the areas of experience design, interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and usability. The individual is capable of collaborating with team members to create and execute interface solutions for complex data-driven web-based applications that meet user, product, and branding.
oImmaculate visual design aesthetic that incorporates a strong understanding of proportion, hierarchy, grid, typography, and color
o Identify the requirements, tasks, and goals; conceptualize how they might be addressed in functional components and interactive concepts
o Produce physical and digital artifacts including sketches, diagrams, wireframes, and highly-polished visual designs using a flexible design process
o Understand and promote where appropriate evolving web standards and technologies, usability best-practices, and emerging interactive design trends
Requirements:
o Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
o Understanding of technical and design concepts of Responsive Web Design
o Five to seven years of experience with basic front-end development languages including CSS3, HTML5, and Javascript
o Experience with Agile development methodology; designing for mobile devices; usability testingEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
