Description/Job Summary
Responsible for developing, planning and executing mobile blood drive recruitment in an assigned geographic territory by adding new business and maintaining existing business to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual goals. Developing an annual plan for the territory and implementing strategies to increase frequency, increase recruitment efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities/Duties
1. Major Activity: Add Blood Drive programs to the Calendar.
Increasing frequency of donor groups.
Add new business by building an ongoing prospect list for evaluation.
Maintain and increase existing business.
2. M ajor Activity: Consistently meet/exceed monthly goals while effectively utilizing resources to maintain an adequate blood supply while adhering to Department performance standards.
Meet or exceed monthly goals while maintaining projection accuracy of between 90-100%.
Get blood drive schedules in within 5 business days of the scheduled drive date.
Meet departmental deadlines for projection of goal, confirmations, and recruitment plan.
3. Major Activity: Execute appropriate planning of each blood drive.
Adheres to the 12 week planning cycle.
Confirm blood drives based on the planning cycle.
Preplan all accounts to maximize groups potential.
Develop and implement recruitment plans at formal planning meetings.
Optimize all face-to-face recruitment opportunities.
Communicates with drive Supervisor to ensure day of activites are progressing as planned.
Maximize automated recruitment opportunities based on right type/right product mix requirement.
Follow-up with coordinator/group after the drive with a phone call and an e-mail detailing results and confirming next blood drive.
4. Major Activity: Communicate accurate blood drive details to Internal and External customers for strong customer service satisfaction.
Prepare and submit all paperwork in a timely and accurate fashion following department procedures and guidelines including the data entry of donor groups in Hemasphere.
Communicate all changes of details in a timely fashion using the established communication network.
5. Major Activity: Develop tailored presentations to educate and motivate targeted audiences.
Tailor individual and group presentations to meet demographic and social breakdown of group.
Maintain updated and accurate facts to use in presentations.
Develop creative ideas to enhance presentations.
Maintain overall knowledge of the organization to effectively communicate goals and resources to the community.
6. Major Activity: Prepare an annual plan to support territory development and achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual goals by building existing and identifying new donor groups.
Develop a geographic territory plan utilizing demographic, marketplace and census information.
Evaluate blood drive cycle and calendar placement to support critical collections dates.
Develop a plan to execute appropriate recruitment strategies to maximize group potential.
Determine the most cost-effective and convenient collection activity to support the groups' needs and population while meeting internal customer requirements.
Develop and maintain a list of potential new accounts and strategies to maintain and increase collections from existing groups.
7. Major Activity: Other duties may be assigned.
Required Skills
Strong Account Planning and analytical skills
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks at one time
Excellent time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Familiarity with computers and software is essential
Must possess sales presentation skills
Word processing and spreadsheet skills
Language skills must include the ability to read, write, speak English effectively and follow oral and written instructions consistent with policies and procedure, SOPs or other requirements.
Ability to effectively integrate organizational goals and objectives with departmental strategies and plans.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Must display a high-level of energy, passion and commitment to the Missions of ITxM.
Required Experience
5 years relevant experience
2 years experience in make sales presentations to various group sizes
3 years sales experience required, outside sales preferred
Experience in a not-for-profit and/or healthcare environment is highly preferred
Required Education
Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing, communications or related discipline.
Exceptions to the degree requirement must be approved by the ITxM Selection Committee.
Details
Physical Demands / Work Environment:
Must be able to walk, talk, sit, stand, see and hear on a regular basis.
The employee must be able to drive a vehicle, travel frequently, and lift up to 25 pounds.
OSHA Category III: Employee will perform tasks/duties that will not put them at risk for exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials, therefore, universal/standard precautions are not required.
Anticipated Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am to 5 pm, but business sometimes dictates hours outside the core hours to include early mornings, later evenings and some weekends.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
