The candidate will support corporate/transactional matters related to commercial real estate leasing, acquisitions, sales, financings, and land use applications. Will draft correspondence, transaction documents, and interoffice messages; manage deadlines and prepare attorneys for hearings; research regulations and property information; and review title work and surveys. Coordinate with clients and vendors to gather and organize data; track status of projects and timing for applications and public hearings; utilize his/her connections throughout the industry to gain necessary documents on an often 'rush' basis; and develop checklists. Prepare outlines and presentations for zoning hearings; contact localities for community meetings; coordinate meeting dates; and coordinate with client and their service providers for hearing dates, times and attendance. Participate in status calls and interoffice meetings to analyze status of files. Intake zoning data and prepare filing documentation. Interact with clients and public officials. Arrange and coordinate community meetings. Organize files and calendar deadlines. Manage communications pertaining to the foregoing. Handle all aspects of closings from term sheet, contract through to settlement. Coordinate deliverables including title and survey. Interact with clients and lenders. Handle leasing, easement and related matters. Interact with title companies and engineers. Record deeds, plats, amendments, and governing documents. Research and retrieve documents located in the land records. Understand court filing procedures and records systems. Research state regulations and local ordinances. Research discrete topics of significance. Report findings clearly and accurately. Due diligence utilizing third-party vendors. Handle closing coordination including handling settlement statements, closing documents, quality control checks, etc.). The candidate should preferably have 2
years of relevant experience. Should have ability to perform substantive review of title, survey and closing documents for deficiencies and accuracy. Must be able to manage real estate files from inception to closing. Buyer/borrower closing experience is a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
