Act as a lead interface between mission partners
Utilize state-of-the-are tools and technologies to tackle hard problems
Identify critical intelligence gaps facing collection operations
Work with analysts and collectors to develop collection initiatives and strategies to solve information shortfalls
Research and create current and longer term studies to steer intelligence operations and exploit key data
Brief clients on study results
Work within interdisciplinary teams to brainstorm creative technical solutions
Required Skills and Education
Required education: Bachelor Degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, statistics, chemistry, biology, or material science
20
years of overall experience within the IC
Professional experience working in a Science & Technology organization
Previous experience as a Science & Technology Research Scientist, Technology/Targeting Analyst, Technical Developer, Technical Operations Officer, or other senior technical S&T position
Ability to identify and assess capabilities, vulnerabilities, and technology trends that enable new collection operations to answer critical intelligence questions
Strong analytic research and investigative skills
Prior experience supporting operations
Strong personal initiative to take on challenges and hard problems with little or no direction
Experience working with a number of sensor platforms
Preferred Skills and Education
Advanced degree in an engineering discipline, computer science, physics, mathematics/statistics, chemistry, biology, or material science
