POSITION
Summary:
Responsible for receiving and processing requests and specimens for Laboratory analysis, entering requests into Laboratory computer system, transporting of specimens and using problem solving skills.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
1. Enters written and receives electronic orders for Laboratory requests into Laboratory Computer System
2. Ensures all specimens received meet specimen acceptance critera
3. Operates Pneumatic Tube System (PTS)
4. Investigates, documents, and resolves problems or complaints
5. Processes Laboratory specimens
6. Serves as trainer and role model for new Speciment Management Technicians and health care professional students
7. Demonstrates knowledge of quality, safety, and compliance programs
8. Performs area-specific support activities
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent

License/Certification: None required

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
