JOB DESCRIPTION
As an Educational Travel Specialist, generate new accounts in the student educational travel industry via telemarketing and face-to-face account selling. Implement the company's superior selling system to to promote the company's high quality student travel program to teachers, administrators, students and parents.
This position reports to the Sales Director. This is a national position and employees will report to the office daily Mon.-Fri. This position has the potential to earn bonuses in addition to base salary. $1,000 signing bonus awarded upon hire.
Essential Job Functions:
o Utilize in-house resources to research potential new customers
o Contact potential customers by telephone; field incoming inquiries - Describe services and recommend specific tour packages providing clear and accurate information on tour prices and inclusions
o Maintain ongoing contact with potential customers by phone and mail
o Maintain accurate and up-to-date computer records and documentation on all customer data, telephone contact, price quotes and written correspondence
o Travel overnight to attend conventions
o Visit potential customers in person
o Participate in calling campaigns and other initiatives
o Generate spring sales
o Help to service sold accounts
o Participate in special projects as needed
o Attend and contribute to regular department meetings
o Additional responsibilities may be assigned

Requirements
High school degree or equivalent; college degree preferred
Excellent telephone skills
2 years sales experience, preferably inside sales
K-12 teaching experience or experience selling educational products such a fundraising products, books, supplies, teaching tools, etc. is preferred
CRM experience
Able travel and drive an automobile
Qualified candidates will be required to complete an online assessment. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
