Job Description
Position: AM Cook
Department: Culinary
Purpose: To prepare and serve all breakfast station items according to menu specs.
Reports to: Executive Chef/Sous Chef
Responsibilities
Set up and prepare all breakfast items for restaurant outlet and room service.
Control quality and consistency of all breakfast foods.
Insure station is set 30 minutes prior to breakfast, lunch and dinner service time.
Required to know all breakfast items on menu in restaurant and room service.
Maintain cleanliness of walk-in and reach-in refrigerators and of the line.
Assist Banquet Cook in service of Banquet functions as necessary.
Prepare hot food and soups for the restaurant lunch buffet.
Set up line for PM Cook.
Assist in controlling food cost.
Help with menu planning and preparation of specials.
Monitor the temperature of food.
Monitor the refrigeration and serving of cold food.
Know and use basic sanitation skills.
Any reasonable requests of Supervisor.
